The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.

The problem with this is that they're both elected officials with real power that they refuse to use on behalf of workers, so they engage in performative solidarity instead of living up to their half of the inside-outside strategy.

Working class Americans need to realise, en masse, that the rich and powerful capitalist ruling class that run their lives are extremely violent. Voting won't help against that violence. Peaceful protest won't help against that violence. And things are only going to get worse.
