I don't think it's great for faith in the sport's governance that two teams in the 12-year history of the Playoff have made the field when they really shouldn't have, and both of those teams were Alabama

Indiana was the worst team in college football for 150 years and then they let you start paying players and they immediately became No. 1 and the only conclusion one can draw is they were the only ones who didn’t realize you could pay players under the table for the first 150 years.

I’m a fan of pulling the trigger sooner rather than later when you know it’s inevitable. The QB injury made this perfect timing. Also, Penn State is about to become 2010s Nebraska.

It’s wild that this is Jalon Daniel’s 6th season starting games for KU. When KU beat Texas and it was hilarious and got Charlie Strong fired, Daniels was already a sophomore. This man was under center for BOTH Trump administrations.
