Championship games are tired and unnecessary. Ditching them makes the regular season MORE meaningful
Replace them with a CFP first round, and then it becomes a 12-team playoff - that’s not awful

If someone is a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing with a full credit load, like any other regular student, then fine ... eligible to play college sports.
