Conflict between the Gov’s Office and auditor over an emergency no-bid contract entered a more serious stage. The auditor referred his findings to the AG’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol for investigation and possible prosecution.

Seeing SCTV for the first time was a formative experience, much like my first time hearing Led Zeppelin.

On both Facebook and Twitter I saw more posts asking if the car was okay than caring about the child who was hit.

Things I learned today: B1G HQ shares a building with a Fogo de Chao
The good part of my day:
Watched my youngest play really well in her first VB tournament of the season.
Intentionally avoided the Nebrasketball game, knowing a) being present was much more important and b) I could stay spoiler-free and catch a stream when I got home
Plus, had a terrific lunch.

Citizens of Carter Lake, Iowa should be able to vote for Nebraska's governor, and the folks in Ciudad Juarez should be able to cast ballots for in presidential elections.
