Buddy of mine who was doing work on a project for Giga Factory Austin awhile back, all of a sudden got told to either leave and come back or go hide in a conference room by a scared Tesla employee. Apparently Musk just showed up and was on a war path….
Employees at Musk’s companies have consistently said the opposite: he has a short fuse and they prefer when he’s focused on anything else because when he starts paying attention to their department they get hit with unnecessary work and stupid requests. He doesn’t know nearly as much as he thinks.

Excited to follow a bunch of neuroscientists! I feel like tech these past few years have been focused on IPO’s or gets acquired for a stupid amounts of money, honestly been fascinated by the work of people that aren’t in tech more and more lately, the the problems being tackled seem more admirable.

I guess it would help bolster existing supply chain conditions? It could make parts for EVs more readily available if you have more factories here?
