The health care version of this is like: "Do we have that x-ray report? No, the hospital switched its EMR from Cottontail to Flopsy, so for the next 9 months we have to query the Loopdeeloo system manually to activate the Foofen Fax Protocol for reports. It's just temporary until ZooZaZa takes over.
When my rent is due, I sometimes long for the days of a day job and a regular paycheck. But then I remember this stuff and go back to looking for loose change in the sofa.
