My 12-year old daughters donated one of their favourite stuffies for me to leave at the memorial in Tumbler Ridge. It’s heartbreaking just to think of them not coming home safely from school today and every day.

Devastated by the news of up to 10 deceased in Tumbler Ridge shooting. British Columbians will mourn this for decades.

There are no right words for a moment like this. I am shocked and horrified at the tragic shooting that occurred in Tumbler Ridge. I grieve with the families who have lost a loved one. I wish for the speedy recovery of all those injured.

The renegotiation of our agreement with Eby’s NDP was a litmus test on their touted pro-worker values. They failed. The BC Greens are the party to take on the 1% and fight for working people. Thread on our CARGA proposal for year two — that the NDP unilaterally vetoed /1 🧵#bcpoli

BREAKING: We’re dropping our agreement with the BC NDP.

To renew our agreement, we asked for material action.

Eby’s NDP plainly refused.

So we’d like to share a new agreement with YOU. We agree to fight for affordability, take on the establishment, and stand with the working people of BC, always.

You can’t treat trauma on a sidewalk.
You can’t recover in a shelter line.
You can’t build stability without a door that locks.
If we’re serious about mental health, addiction, and safety then we must be serious about housing.

Foreign corporations get billions in taxpayer funding. What do they do with it? Strip our resources and leave working people to pay for the mess.

It’s the BC NDP playbook: privatize the profits, socialize the costs.

Chaos out here? Nope.
I’m speaking with CBC News about the closure of the Howe Street overdose prevention site.
These sites prevent deaths and connect people to care.
Shutting it down only guarantees one thing:
more public consumption.
more people using alone. More overdoses.
More tragedy.

Good.
ICE isn’t “law enforcement,” it’s an industry of human suffering.
Businesses should be cutting ties, not cashing checks.

Great work @emilylowan.bsky.social for bringing this to everyone's attention.
