My favourite microlabel to explore in fics is aegosexuality. It's the one I feel closest to and there's so many varieties. "The Things Bodies Do" by @fangirldeedee.bsky.social is a gorgeous, sweet and kind story where Ed and Stede explore what it means for Stede. 💞

OFMD fanfic is wonderful for body positivity, but you know what else? AGING positivity. The way silver hair is a thing of beauty. Going ga-ga over eye crinkles. And, hello, everything about "Sunlight in the Midnight." I love it.

Calling the artists! My niece is super into learning watercolor techniques right now, and I want to get her a stellar art set for Christmas. I'd like it to have all the basic tools, an exciting variety of colors, but nothing so advanced that a beginner wouldn't know what to do with it. Help?

Deleted the photo I took at the Atlanta show and just feel shitty now. For the record, the person who seated us said it was okay to take a picture as long as it wasn't during the performance and flash was off. At least I have the photo for myself since it's the only one I got of him that night. 😢

In addition to this, if you repost something from someone else, you won't get notifications that other people have liked your repost, which totally contributes to a bit of the 'posting into the void' feeling I think a lot of people are having. Lots of subtle differences to Twitter!
A friendly reminder that unlike on the birdsite, it’s important to repost or reply to things here. That’s the only way more people see a thing! Liking is nice, but it doesn’t help something be visible for anyone else ❤️ (I didn’t know this until I saw it pointed out by folks who’d been here a while)

Actually, I take that back - I went to @missfishercon.bsky.social in New Orleans in July, and it was AWESOME! I mean I've never been a to a giant, multi-fandom con.
I've never been to a con (yet... bring OFMD people to Atlanta or New Orleans, universe!), but I love seeing all the pics and videos and costumes!
