This is what the media is supposed to do: hold those in power accountable, and when they don't answer the question cut them off, ask them again to answer the question, and if not: end of interview.

No time for bullshitters. Over and out.

STEPHANOPOULOS: I didn't insinuate anything. I asked you whether Tom Homan accepted $50k as was heard on an audio tape recorded by the FBI in September 2024. You did not answer the question. Thank you for your time.

The firehose of easily disprovable lies from Trump and his allies continues to get worse each month, with one statement after another completely untethered from reality, which is why it is so important for them to take ownership and control of media platforms & intimidate others.

Hearing about more students having their I-20 cancelled in SEVIS. This is designed to leave the US with zero international students.

It’s an assault on freedom, on academia, on travel and learning and students and colleges and families and it breaks promises made and steals money already paid.

It is unconscionable that Gluesenkamp Perez (WA) voted against the women in our nation and sided with the Republicans.
The SAVE Act, a.k.a the Save the Republicans' Asses Act, is a shameless attempt to block Americans—especially married women—from voting. Requiring birth certificates to cast a ballot? That’s not election security. That’s voter suppression.

The Trump administration has no idea how globalization works. For example: Coca-Cola! American-made, right? Sure. Except Coca-Cola uses aluminum cans and aluminum has to be sourced. This is just one example of 2nd- and 3rd-order effects. It will crash the U.S. economy.
Coca-Cola says it will sell more soda in plastic bottles if aluminum tariffs take effect
Coca-Cola can also find domestic aluminum sources and increase the price for customers, CEO James Quincey said.

Most coffee in the U.S. comes from Brazil and Colombia, both with 10% tariffs now. But that's just the coffee beans. Who knows where the packaging (which is typically more expensive) comes from.

Bottom line: Your coffee is getting more expensive, too.
