I'm used to talking to the caiques who understand full sentences, but have to reconfigure communication for the cats. even Dirac (who is very smart).
Cats don't really do "grammar". Sounds provide context, sure, but they're action oriented. "No" means nothing, but shaking a spray bottle sure does.

I can't animate straight into clean. Feels unnatural. I need soft blunted graphite so I can see how it looks in general, then reinforce any happy accidents the brush gives me.
The clean brush has no happy accidents. Everything is harsh and strong. I can't reinforce what I want to keep, only delete.

In this case, watching Baxter "feel out" his drawings with softer, feathery lines was something I was explicitly told to avoid, as it was "a sign of an artist without confidence in their lines." But here, it's simply a means of finding the best possible mass for a shape. (3/5)

I gave a talk to the @cartoonist.coop about how to keep your expenses organized for filing your taxes. And I end it with, don't use HR Block or Turbo Tax because they are keeping taxes complicated. If they aren't hiring an accountant, they should use www.freetaxusa.com instead
americans: whenever you see a turbotax advertisement, never let yourself forget that turbotax and companies like it are WHY we have to file taxes like we do in the first place.
