i bet iguanadons were MEAN fuckers. No way that thing propogated so well and kept such huge nests without being the biggest bastard in the mesozoic.

Jurassic Park: where we encourage guests to pet the "bison, but ten thousand times worse"
November 11, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Every time Jurassic Park movies treat herbivores as harmless and docile, I wonder if the writers have ever interacted with wild animals bigger than a rat.

boy knew what he was about
November 11, 2025 at 6:25 PM
oh they were big mad. Like got as close as a raven dares and yelling at my face, meeting my eyes.

If he had connected, that would be a big chunk of scalp missing.
November 11, 2025 at 6:20 PM
yup, mischief void right there

I had one swoop me repeatedly because I was like fifty feet from its fledgling.
Bro was telling me OFF, escorted me right out of the commons.

"The Future Is Wild" and every other spec future evo project that doesnt account for the extremely intelligent adaptable corvids that are EVERYWHERE and can easily take advantage of abandoned human things, including manipulating other animals who interact with them, are COWARDS
November 11, 2025 at 6:12 PM
There's these massive, tool wielding talking sky chimps over our heads and everyone just shrugs at this and goes about their day.

It's like how Australians regard the hordes of cockatoos in their cities.
November 11, 2025 at 6:09 PM
/what did you do/???
November 11, 2025 at 6:08 PM
Like if a hawk or small eagle swallowed a crow, kirby-style.

Their beaks and tail shape are the give away, besides the raptor-like silhouette.

But if you do have yucca moths and carry some nodes and plant them, who knows?

That's probably pretty illegal tho. Theyre endangered, so i think mucking about with them is discouraged.
November 11, 2025 at 6:03 PM
That and its not exactly a fast spreading plant. Since its not carried by animals or the wind, theyre always gonna grow near their parents.

And that means theyre not exactly going uphill or over mountains and rivers.
November 11, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Oh they actually need frost to propogate. A node will freeze and drop, then the scar splits into two more branches. That's why they look so bizarre.

What you probably lack is the yucca moth. Those pollinate them.
