Theres a lot of ugly stuff in the world. I'm ugly stuff, we all are sometimes. Its important to do your best to remember you can overcome that and still be something good sometimes. You dont have to be ugly all the time, even if you feel like it on the inside.

I genuinely find the psychological appeal of faces in advertising fascinating.
I often see alt versions of posters that are much more stylized and interesting than the main design. But the sad truth is usually those don't sell as well when they don't have a face on it. Vibes just don't cut it.
