House Dems are united and won’t fund the DHS bill. This puts Mike Johnson in a bad situation bc he lacks the votes to pass it w/Rs only, bc they don’t like the deal Thune made. Gov shutdown is looming but maybe if ICE didn’t execute Americans or violated our rights, the bill would go through.
