President Trump claims that his goal of his anti-fraud campaign is to save taxpayers money, but it's largely become a tool for political retribution. Some state officials also say his actions are legally dubious.
In Trump’s Fraud Crackdown, Political Foes Face Harshest Scrutiny
State officials say the president’s actions are a new form of retribution, even as the White House has pardoned allies charged with defrauding government.

Love this. I wish the majority of SCOTUS had half the wit, intellect, compassion -- and understanding of the law as this judge.

Can you believe this sentence? Racism has been normalized by WH.
"While President Trump & White House regularly circulate imagery altered by AI, including demeaning and racist deepfakes, it is usually so over the top that the goal seems more about cartoonish mockery than outright deceit." NYT

Wow!
Why did mega law firm Paul Weiss capitulate so quickly right after Convicted Felon Donald Trump took office?…
Among the millions of Epstein documents released Friday by the DOJ, several involve Brad Karp, the chairman of the mega law firm Paul Weiss, which was the very first firm to bend the knee to Felon Trump. I analyze the documents & the relationship between Epstein and Karp.

Apparently there was a city meeting in Hutchins, Texas, tonight. Hutchins is the location of DHS's newly announced 10,000-person concentration camp. What I've been told is that city officials were unanimously and adamantly opposed to it.

Unfortunately, I'm seeing this nowhere online.

Massive win for the people: a federal judge granted a restraining order in our Members’ lawsuit against ICE’s unlawful effort to obstruct congressional oversight. This is a big victory for accountability and we’re going to use our rights and keep fighting for all Members' right to conduct oversight.

After Donald Trump took office, companies linked to Donald Trump Jr. got defense contracts worth tens of MILLIONS of dollars.

Coincidence?

@blumenthal.senate.gov, @kim.senate.gov and I are investigating what could be a giant conflict of interest.

Truth Social alerted a story about a threat on ICE that links to a story at the right-wing site Newsmax that has as its source only a press release from DHS. Which, you will recall, is not at all reliable as a source of information.

Trump is going to bulldoze the Kennedy Center like he did the East Wing and then grift taxpayers to build an ugly, ostentatious venue that no one of any note will want to perform at.

Everything is about "national security." What a joke. Convenient excuse to limit rights and run roughshod over norms and the rule of law.

I'm sure Usha Vance is a true model of the conservative nationalist mother and wife, except for one small thing: the color of her skin. Can't be a white nationalist when you're not white and have children who are not white.
Bit of a problem, @jd-vance-1.bsky.social, no?

This isn’t about convicting Don Lemon. It’s unlikely that will happen. It’s about intimidating journalists & making them censure themselves out of fear of consequences. It’s about eroding the free press because the administration can’t afford the criticism.
This just in: "Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards," Lemon's attorney Abbe Lowell says.

No arrests of the ICE thugs who murdered Alex Pretti, Renee Good, or Keith Porter. No arrests of anyone in the Epstein Files. But they arrested Don Lemon because of his journalism.

Minnesota is grieving. But we’re resolved. The support we’ve received from across the country has energized us, and given us hope.

It’s time for the federal government to draw down their forces and let us get back to allowing freedom, opportunity, and security – for everyone.
