I bought and played this last week and had SO much fun. Irish mythology and history, investigating a mystery, and exploring a spooky haunted manor in 1897 Connemara. It's like it was tailor-made to my interests!
The story and characters are great, I was so invested I couldn't stop playing.

As well as all the other important reasons to go out and vote for Catherine Connolly today, you will get to enjoy the feeling of seeing your candidate win and knowing you helped it happen. That doesn't happen very often for most of us in FF/FG constituencies, so take advantage of it!

If you're wondering about the state of public transport in the West of Ireland, the bus that stops at Knock Airport was cancelled and they only run every 3 hours, so I had to spend €83 on a taxi. Honestly ridiculous that there isn't a dedicated airport bus. #SpeirGorm

Does anyone else's mouth make things taste like other things randomly? The first few sips of the iced coffee I'm drinking tasted like cold raw tomato, and a specific brand of tofu I buy sometimes tastes like disinfectant to me. Is this an autism/sensory issues thing or did covid break my tastebuds?

A rent of €800 a month probably seems enviable to many, but as you can see the HAP cap is ridiculously low here, and I'm on disability allowance. I will owe almost half of my already barely sufficient income in rent. Missed the new RPZ regulations by a month. 🙃 #SpeirGorm

I know the material reasons for the rise of fascism. I also think another reason - which doesn’t get talked about as much because it’s embarrassing that humans can be that naive - is that when you are financially comfortable but bored, abstract cruelty can give you a sense of purpose.
