The White House now says the total tariff rate on China is 145% because of the 20% "levied in response to the fentanyl crisis". No one can afford this and all the headlines about "a 90-day pause on tariffs" are inaccurate. www.cnbc.com/2025/04/09/s...

🚨BREAKING: U.S. House passed GOP voter suppression law. 220-208. Every Republican voted to disenfranchise millions. It now goes onto the Senate where Democrats will be able to block it.

Interesting observation.

The usually omnipresent Musk has been relatively MIA since the Wisconsin drubbing.
It has been noticeable, to me at least, that Elon Musk is being marginalized in the WH. Trump is holding a cabinet meeting today and Musk won't be there. He hasn't been around all week as far as I've been able to tell. It seems the Wisconsin election caused his star to fade.

UPDATE:

The House just passed the SAVE Act with a 220-208 vote that included 4 Democrats voting in support of the bill.

This bill effectively codifies one of Trump's executive orders and will disenfranchise tens of millions of American voters.
Today, we’re voting on what Republicans are calling the “SAVE Act”—but let’s be real, it’s a straight-up voter suppression bill.

They are literally trying to make it harder for millions of Americans to exercise their right to vote.

I’m voting NO—hell no, actually.

Booker: For people with 401(k) accounts and retirement savings, they’ve lost thousands. I’ve been hearing from people who had hoped to retire this year after working 25, 30, or even 35 years, but now they don’t think they have enough money because he’s taken $6 trillion overall out of the markets.

At this point, you can’t convince me they aren’t manipulating the market.

Certainly he caused hundreds of thousands of deaths during the pandemic and has openly _threatened_ war crimes against Iran and others.
