One of my creepy digital ads (IYKYK and if you're in the Milwaukee area, YK) showed up in the news feed of a very sweet older lawyer and he said he was going to take my smiling face as a sign in our current hellscape that a guardian angel is watching and things will be OK.

My teenager asked if someone botched the redaction on purpose
Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

Today I am, once again, going to try to make my grandfather's bakery butter cookies.
I am a good baker. I have the recipe. I have a food scale and a well-calibrated oven. I have never been able to get them to turn out correctly. (They turn out fine as cookies, but wrong.)
