I have zero idea how many non-comic books I read this year. At least twice this year I packed up all the read books into boxes and placed them in the “catacombs”, which is what I call the secret passage between our fuse box and water heater.

My orange cat, Fred, who, after hiding from the catsitter for six days and, presumably, avoiding meals, has now become the most clingy adorable furball in the world and sleeps curled up between us all night, under the covers. He has not left our sides.

I just saw an ad campaign on tv that was an ad campaign that I pitched to the products’ competitor two years ago. My clients loved it but didn’t pursue it. But their competition got the same idea from someone else and ran with it. Wow.
