If you normalize the first step in oppression, there will be a second...and a third...and a fourth. We've seen this before, and I'm not talking about Nazis. Japanese-American internment. Chinese Exclusion. Indian Removal Acts. Slave Catchers. This is not new, so we have no right to act surprised.
Trump's ICE Nazis care about papers about as much Hitler's Nazis cared about papers — which is not at all. 😳👇q

MSW reporting an uncomfortable and (not very) complicated fact. Will someone please convince corporate media to follow these stories? Oh...wait...corporate media is irrelevant to anyone under 75.
Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.

If any other president had said this despicable thing, it would result in immediate retractions and clarifications, days of media speculation about his mental state, lots of international criticism, and the resignations on principle of some staffers in the White House and broader administration.
Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."

If I were a news executive I would assign a f/t reporter to watch for the moment when Karoline Leavitt’s crucifix spontaneously combusts.
The WH responds to Trump's left hand bruises vis Sara Cook of CBS: "Per Karoline Leavitt 'At the Board of Peace event, President Trump hit his hand in the corner of the signing table, causing it to bruise.' A WH official also noted his aspirin usage. He didn’t have one at the start of the BoP event"

Granted, my Minnesota cred is a bit rusty these days, but where the hell is this cadre of paid actors that can drive on snow and know the proper use of “Ope! Let me just scooch by you there…” supposed to be coming from?

LOFGREN: The fact that Trump, according to Senator Graham, would be that 'Martians stole the election' -- what does that tell you about Trump's state of mind?

JACK SMITH: Trump was not looking for honest answers about if there was fraud in the election. He was looking for ways to stay in power

Given that it took nearly two years to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate Trump, "pressure" is not the word to associate with Merrick Garland.
COHEN: Did Merrick Garland ever pressure you to bring an indictment?

JACK SMITH: No

Q: Did you uncover evidence to prove Trump knew his claim the election was stolen was false?

SMITH: Yes

Q: And Trump claimed it was stolen while he privately acknowledged he lost?

SMITH: Yes

Q: Yet on the 5th anniversary of J6, Trump still promoted the stolen election theory on a govt webpage
