They will never accept defeat. A lot of what's going on here is due to their inability to be wrong. If the place they're complaining about being a crime ridden hellhole isn't one, they'll make sure it becomes one just to be right. They're destroying vaccines just to be right 4 years ago.

The political point of all this, in Minneapolis and elsewhere, is to distract the Republican base from the fact that Trump cannot actually deport 14 million people as he promised. Terror and violence against some immigrants and their liberal allies is an entertaining substitute for the impossible.
