So Noam Bettan is indeed representing 🇮🇱. Having dipped a toe into his discography, I doubt we'd get a "fun" song, as has been suggested. Wouldn't rule out up-tempo entirely, but I'm expecting something more mid-tempo. Although hopefully not another ballad about strength, peace, unity and the like.

Biden accpeted his age was taking its toll; so stepped aside. Trump, however, wouldn't know modesty or humility if it smacked him in the face. So even though his increasingly erratic behaviour is to clear to see, there's not a chance he'll admit he's not the immortal, infallible god he thinks he is.

Not sure if Rybak is returning just to get exposure on his new album or because he really wants to go to ESC again. Always a big risk former winners returning; rarely ends well unless you're Loreen or Logan.

Crazy that it's come to Kier Starmer having to give a speech to the nation to essentially say 'we don't think it's OK to nick someone else's territory', and it's about the US.

Was fully expecting AIDAN to top the jury and public vote, so was a little surprised to see MATT BLXCK won the latter. But all's well that ends well. MB was great and all, but AIDAN has the bigger potential in Vienna. #MESC #MESC2026

I totally respect people's opinions, particularly with regards to wanting Israel out. However, the constant doom-glooming, fault-finding, apocalyptic-prophesying, and conspiracy-theorying is getting both tiring and boring. It's unhealthy and helps no-one, themselves included. #Eurovision

Remarkably I've not seen a single "worst year ever!" And quite right too. For all the fears that it'd be a weak one (bc many assume no decent artists would go anywhere near ESC rn), it's shaping up to be a pretty good one.

Martin Green admitted on Euro Trip the EBU could have done a better job at enforcing some of the rules. I'd be very curious to know specifically what rules he had in mind. Would it be the same ones the fandom thinks?
