For 🇮🇱 it's pretty simple, their songs are average at best, but a mass effort by bad actors inflated their televote results.

Interesting thoughts. However, I'm rather more confident on the voting reform. From the little we have been told, seems the Ref Group looked at it in the summer, and the EBU's proposed changes were shared with delegations in September.

Yh, he's apparently going to sue in Florida, but even then he'll have a mountain to climb. The bar for defamation is higher in the US compared to the UK, thanks to their old friend the 1st Amendment. Plus, Panorama wasn't aired in the States, so the court wouldn't have jurisdiction over the matter.
