I'm 40 today. An age that freaks me out more than a little bit, if I'm very honest. So much of life has felt like trying to find my footing, and being at what might be the halfway point is a difficult realization.
That having been said: I'm thankful to get to have this birthday. ❤️

I don't want to ascribe things that aren't there, but it's hard not to hear the countless voices from my childhood, the worldviews and scriptures taught, and to know, in my bones, how the murders of Good and Pretti will be shrugged off.
