The Supreme Court on Friday let the Trump administration temporarily suspend $65 million in teacher-training grants that the government contends would promote diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

This novel offers a great perspective - from fourth graders who are seeing books they love get removed and how they fought back. An engaging story, and one that would make for some great classroom discussions! Includes a discussion and activity guide and connections to Common Core. Highly recommend!

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.
