Last week Evans made a big show of concern with ICE entering homes w/o a judicial warrant. His "grilling" of the ICE Director lasted 23 seconds and consisted of asking him to agree to talk more about it... in private... sometime later.
Before today's hearing, CBS4 reported that Evans "says he plans to grill ICE on how its agents have been conducting some raids."

When it was Evans' turn to ask ICE questions at the hearing, he did not, in fact, grill anyone.

Attention holiday shoppers: if a petition gatherer asks you for your signature to "limit ICE," be sure to read the fine print. The initiative from right-wing Advance Colorado actually would override state/local laws that protect immigrants.
Circulators collecting signatures for Initiative #95 described it as a way to rein in Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s activity in Colorado. In reality, it would force local law enforcement to share information with ICE.
