A lot of people on here can't be bothered to differentiate between Nigeria and ISIS.

➡️ USA and Nigeria bombed ISIS in Nigeria on Christmas.

Other narratives you hear on here may or may not realize that is what actually happened.
Trump, after bombing Nigeria on Christmas: “MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the dead Terrorists [sic].”

These are the words of an evil man whom Christ does not know.

When were tobacco companies first required to post warnings of their dangers on the products?

Maybe if there were better trusted media outlets, we wouldn't need to get our news from random unsourced sources we haven't heard of before.

Related: the USA didn't "bomb Nigeria" yesterday, they collaborated with Nigeria to bomb ISIS, in case anyone's just going along w/ 'common knowledge' on here
Has there been any confirmed reputable compilation of Epstein files revelations yet? I keep seeing lots of damning stuff, but unsourced from folks I am not familiar with.

Where did our Government get the numbers that the Country is doing well? Cause, we’re not

I've been in Ottawa how long and it was only a month or two ago - reading the archive ('30 years ago') section of the community newspaper - I learned they put the fish icon on the sewer grates to remind people that what goes into the sewer goes into the waterways and impacts the wildlife. #ottcity

I hear that Democratic Socialism isn't about seizing the means of production, but instead it's about taxing billionaires more and having a fairer capitalism.

That's according to the Democrat congress or senate person on @democracynow.org who described himself as a Progressive* Capitalist.

And what happened to USAID and all people it impacts?
The country’s 10 richest billionaires have seen their wealth increase by nearly $700 billion since Trump reentered the White House.

Meanwhile, fundraising for essential expenses on GoFundMe increased by 20% over the past year.

“Golden Age” for who?

Amazingly (or not), G&M story refuses to acknowledge how the "alleged KGB dossier" - "the focus of a fierce but whispered debate in Ottawa over the authenticity and provenance of the files" - was reported to be a forgery by @thewalrus.ca in October, based on @readtheorchard.org's original reporting.

Also to note: Pugliese has covered Canadian military working with Nazis in Ukraine, and has covered Nazi monuments established by government in Canada. It goes beyond your description... because almost no one (including yourselves) in the establishment wants to fully acknowledge the Nazi problem?

Grab your bannock, because we're bringing the tea. I grilled three reporters who’ve been on the frontlines of delayed water legislation, fast-tracked pipelines and a suspiciously drama-free AFN assembly

They’ve seen things. They’ve got thoughts.

"Whatever the future holds, we'll always have entertainment... Look on the bright side of life. "
Trump will be parodied for decades by comedians and satirists, but I can't imagine them coming up with anything more outrageous or disgusting than the way he actually behaves every day in public.

How about, "The US did not have a democracy left... Maybe that's the reason your vote didn't really matter on this matter."
The US is not going to have a government left. The current regime is dismantling everything and anything that might actually benefit its citizens. Is this what you voted for?

I'm out of touch with some things, but hands up if you already knew:

"The 1954 animated film "Animal Farm," based on George Orwell's novella, was funded in part by the CIA, which influenced its script to emphasize anti-communist themes while downplaying critiques of capitalism."
Overall, they could’ve actually made a dark-toned, mature, mainstream animated movie, and they opted to make it a flashy, (possibly) merchandisable movie for kids who will go on thinking this is what the book’s about.

He may be just quoting international law.

Like if you quote someone saying, "Genocide can consist of any of these: killing; causing serious bodily or mental harm; deliberately inflicting conditions to bring about destruction; measures to prevent births; forcible transfer of children to other group"
Mustafa Barghouti last year: "Any country that is under occupation has the right to resist occupation with all forms of struggle, including military struggle"

But it's over 2 decades later, so they believe what they want.
MAGA absolutely HATES George W Bush for starting a foreign war to protect American oil interests.

But MAGA loves Donald J Trump for... *checks notes*... starting a foreign war to protect American oil interests.

Official Canadian government policy says Israel's occupation of the West Bank is a violation of international law (the Geneva Conventions).

Canada can intervene - they already have imposed limited sanctions on a few Israeli individuals in response to the most outlandish activities in the West Bank.

soundbites always did well for mass media

it's not a new thing; even the critiques are long-standing
i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.
