Ottawa Atletico won the Canadian Premier League soccer championship for the 1st time last night - in heavy snow!
Here's the 'icycle (bicycle) kick' tying-goal.
David Rodriguez scored this one, PLUS the one to win in extra time. Congrats #AtletiOttawa!!
(The 2017 Grey Cup here was also very snowy)

Comedy gold from the Conservative Party "frat house"
'First, let us demonstrate our "negativity" and "beating up on someone else" behaviour. Then let us say how "calmly" our people walked in, how "calm and measured" they were in calling him a snake, and how "quietly" they exited and shook his hand'

PPS when I went to get alt-text for the above excerpt you used, I learned it's not in the NDP rules www.ndp.ca/sites/defaul... so it is Elections Canada rules? Which like I said, you knew/know from the mainstream media articles what EC was on record as saying, but you are insinuating something else.

PS reading it again, I guess accepting donations doesn't automatically make him considered a leadership candidate - it only means that *if they accept him* then they'll consider him to have been a candidate from when he started fundraising.
So Martin saying he got 2-month head start, isn't valid.

I asked an expert about this, I don't know if I asked it quite right b/c she didn't seem to give quite the answer I thought made sense, but on her website* it is quite clearly acknowledged
*My interview of her, with the question in it, is embedded on there too www.raewynconnell.net/p/masculinit...

This sure feels like a (very scary) manufactured moral panic:
"My sister works for a catholic school board. There is a mentally unstable woman spreading that she is transgender and having everyone pull their kid from school. My sister was born a female and is not transgender. What can we do?"

Remember boys and girls and non-binaries:
People don't always mean exactly what they say, sometimes they say it the way they do because it will get a better reaction from people
(It only took 11min to confirm my guess)

2/2 Another section of the zine was this except from "Blessed Is The Flame: an introduction to concentration camp resistance and anarcho-nihilism" by Serafinski.
It documents some of the Holocaust, while (as presented in my zine, which is about Israel's starvation of Gaza) connecting it to the now.

Hopefully this isn't necessary, but I thought to share an excerpt from a zine I put together - I think it puts in a clear light how Holocaust commemoration and the fight against antisemitism are being used for modern day genocide denial. 1/2

He seems to clearly indicate he is abiding by the rules, and that the fundraising is to pay the $100K fee the NDP requires to register as a candidate (how did others pay it?)
Whereby do you or Martin come to the conclusion he's not abiding by the rules, and is required to pay back the donations?

Not surprising. If they had an 1890s themed Hallowe'en party, they'd probably be wearing 1890's era attire.
Of course the attire of an era isn't completely homogeneous: rich people often don't have quite the same styles as regular people. Trump's guests probably didn't dress as hobos, for example.

oh and don't forget - that time when he's in a meeting in front of the press at the white house, and someone passes him a note saying for him to approve "his" latest Truth Social post, so they can announce the Israel-Gaza ceasefire agreement.

5/ Truth b4 Reconciliation
Reconciliation does require challenging business-as-usual
Colonialism is long history, it can require revisiting previous decisions (even apologizing!)
Adversary or Ally?
AAN is small, oppressed, low $$
Better for city to do legal fight for their rights or against them?

3/ Land Claim
Gov't policy is to extinguish Aboriginal title
(i.e. ‘cede and surrender’)
Non-status members:
1) Benefits are conditional
2) Indigeneity in question (ex: Lynn Clouthier)
Lands are government surplus, not picked for best spot
Tewin land is “fee simple” - but w/o Nation’s consent
