Says the worst potus ever.
Montage of 19 clips of Trump insulting, berating, demeaning and attacking female reporters over the past few months. Part 1.

Photographs of an interstellar comet from NASA 👇- very cool stuff.
NASA just captured a comet from another solar system, from nearly every angle. 🛰️🧪

Comet 3I/ATLAS isn’t just any comet, it’s interstellar, formed in a different star system and now offering a rare look at alien material passing through ours.

From a story Bill Eppridge photographed for Life magazine - behind the scenes during Academy Awards season. Both actresses were nominated. Do you know who won?

This 👇is very wrong.
Dreamers were once obvious candidates for a path to citizenship—to both sides of the aisle. Now, they’re getting picked up, detained, and set for potential deportation.

Then they came for the Dreamers
Immigrants brought here as children were told they wouldn’t be deported. Now, they’re being targeted anyway.

We’ve never seen this before. It has probably been in the Life Picture Collection files since that night.
The big picture shots are great, obviously, but the keys for a great Life photographer are human interest & story-telling. Bill Eppridge took this great photograph in a candle-lit barber shop during the blackout. The woman in the fur coat takes this one to the next level.

FYI - None of Eppridge’s Blackout Night photographs were published in the Life issue that ran the story of what happened that night. But he did run up 28 flights of stairs in the Time Life building to get his film to the lab…with a security guard trying to catch him. Bill made it.
Another shot by Bill Eppridge from Blackout Night in New York, November 9, 1965. You might call this a once in a lifetime opportunity, but Eppridge's long career is full of amazing shots.

Professional Photographers are mostly
freelance. If you are not on staff, this is your situation 👇👇👇
Yes, Mr. President: You’re right. We do have “the worst health care” of any major country.

Despite spending twice as much per capita, we are the only major country not to guarantee health care to all as a human right.

The solution: Medicare for All.

The White House is freaking out about the No Kings protest against Trump and his fascist authoritarian regime's Nazification of America. Apparently, Americans are not cool with Stephen Miller's "plenary authority" claim that Trump has the same ultimate power as Hitler once did.

Not staged. And perfect, thanks.

This is so perfect, I thought it was staged.

Actually, 4 different parts to the skateboard assignment- Patti McGee was photographed first in Pittsburgh.
Pioneering female skateboarder Patti McGee was in that same 1965 Bill Eppridge shoot.

Classic, and genuine person. Also a great dancer. LIFE magazine first published this photograph in 1969 and asked if #Villella was the world’s greatest athlete.

He started out as a boxer. True.
Edward Villella dancing for The New York City Ballet, 1957-79, by Bill Eppridge. I can’t help but assume that superhero artists seek inspiration in photo-books featuring ballet dancers.

Key word is #planning
Italian photographer Valerio Minato spent six years planning a perfectly aligned shot of the Moon with Turin’s Basilica of Superga and Monviso. Weather delays thwarted annual chances until December 2023, when a crescent Moon with visible da Vinci glow completed his long-envisioned composition

Keep sharing it 😅
Colbert isn’t going quietly after news of his show’s cancellation. South Park’s roasting CBS and Trump. House Democrats are forcing votes on Epstein files. And Trump’s approval ratings? Not looking too hot. Let’s count this week’s wins. 👏
Our Wins Of The Week
As you know, last week it was reported that CBS would be ending The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next May, the timing of which seemed…suspicious.
