It spreads! Washington state confirmed 3 measles cases in Snohomish County family linked to South Carolina family who visited multiple locations in Snohomish counties over the holidays.
The 3 cases, unvaccinated siblings, are the state’s first measles cases since 2023.

As of Dec. 10th 1,475 pertussis (whooping cough) cases were reported last year in Oregon. This breaks the state’s all-time annual record of 1,420, set in 1950 —and makes the need for people to stay up to date with their vaccinations all the more urgent.
