ANYWAY I decided to concept out some stuff myself. Based on movements and what I COULD see, I started out w/ something that looked a bit like Datatsushi ala Forbidden Siren.

The boatload of sensory organs also seemed appropriate.
A kind of seahorse/crustacean hybrid looking thing with lots of whiskers and sensory organs. An attempt at Babylon 5 Vorlons.
