I might just be speaking from personal experience but "coming up with ideas for projects" is the easiest fucking part of the creative process and, also, the most enjoyable for me. Why on God's Green Golf Course would I subcontract out to a machine to steal my joy?
Anthropic is aggressively hitting me with ads on instagram for Claude and it’s all people being like “I use Claude to brainstorm” or asking Claude where they can find two colors together in a city. What a pile of crap, how does anybody still believe this is the future? It’s Search 2 and it sucks

There's also this charity, the Bail Project, that pays the bail of individuals who cannot afford their own freedom. This includes those in poverty and protesters exercising their first amendment rights.
Bail can be refunded to the payer, so that's a long way to stretch a $.

The Bail Project - Freedom should be free.
The Bail Project strives for a more perfect justice system, one that works for all people no matter their race or wealth. By providing free bail assistance to those in need, we restore the presumption...

please support her on subscribestar, but also please raise your voices at both Patreon and Ko-Fi, because this kind of targeted behavior is extremely worrying

Solid portion of our team, including myself, are trans.

Which hopefully shows with the fact the Main protagonist of Mars Vice is a trans man and the game is full of queer folks across the spectrums.

Also fuck genAi, We make our games have meaning.

Paroles de Poilus cured me of enjoying "soldiers games"(RTS and FPS both) using wars set in our world without any self-reflectiona s a setting and Les Mannequins Nus finished off any desires I had to play any WW2 games where Germany is a playable faction.
performative reading, lack of reading skills, nobody's reading anymore -- NO!

tell me about a book that changed you

for me? the *extremely* ahistorical novel, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY which I read at 13 and was like, "Oh, art can be *everything* to a maker, for good and bad"

The argument I'm hearing about it is "the voice actors got paid for it so it's all good"

We don't know how much they got paid, or if they get royalties every time those lines get used.

It's a slippery slope being brushed off because "game good"

if Arc Raiders had plagiarized art, would it matter?

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon

Like I'm not rich but I love giving money to individual people when I can, I don't usually commission but I love buying stuff from artist shops or booths if I can. I genuinely love and adore art and the people who make it. That's probably why I ended up becoming a furry to begin with

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

Sure you have your miles df's who charge 5k and the trope is all furries have high paying IT jobs. The reality is that the majority of us are poor and we're all passing the same $20 to each other. We spend money on art because we love the artist and want to support them.

Hobbies cost money. Nobody looks at Magic the Gathering players or Warhammer 40k players and think suspiciously wealthy gamers. It's when money is given to other people instead of corporations does the math change.

Furries have mutual enjoyment of the craft and with that comes mutual support.
