Having Energy sold at cost would save the UK £1,000 per household and be a massive boon to the economy.

Instead you pay £30bn extra which goes almost entirely to people who don't live, pay tax or spend money in the UK.

Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Today, building a fence with solar can be cheaper than using wood.

Of course they're backed by the banks too...

Many things to take away from this excellent article, chief among which - "if all available safe carbon storage capacity were used for CO2 removal, this would contribute to only a 0.7C reduction in global warming."

Ok, 0.7C is not to be sniffed at, every 0.1 helps...but at what cost?!

Community energy puts power back where it belongs, in the hands of local people. Across the UK, groups are generating renewable energy and reinvesting profits to make their communities greener, fairer, and stronger.
