My husband announced this morning that he'd had an emergency raspberry pie delivery and I got all excited and then realised that he's a software developer and I just mentally added that E at the end. We have very different concepts of what an emergency Raspberry Pi(e) is.

I started to feel like without #neurodivergent people humanity would have never made it out of the stone age, both sides of the spectrum, one with obsessive attention focused on refining methods and solving problems, the other on the lookout, attention shifting from falling rocks to flying birds.

No, I 100% agree that computer RPGs these days have too much handholding. I, too, yearn for the days of being able to spend hours crafting my perfect build from hundreds of available options, only to discover that it mathematically cannot survive the mandatory rat fight portion of the first dungeon.
