I don’t think people understand how devastating the end of net neutrality, and consumer protections around internet connectivity, are going to be. Imagine the situation where you pay for 4 or 5 different streaming services, each with different “exclusives” — but for the Internet itself.

Short thread reminder that an essential part of any allyship with indigenous resistance to colonialism is to avoid perpetuating simplistic, and straight up racist, tropes.
the Haka has reached US discourse and I keep seeing it referred to as a 'war dance' and ... no that's grossly reductive, and part of a colonial pattern of reducing everything about Māori culture to violence. Please watch this:
