I always remember that Zwerg, like many of the Freedom Riders, was in fact a sincerely religious Christian whose belief in God’s justice, which supersedes that of the state, made Zwerg’s work on earth not only possible but compulsory.

fwiw, I think the best way to think of this is not really as "trump is the worst ever" so much as "trump takes all the worst aspects of american history and speed runs them all at once"
Every American should be ashamed of who we are and what we have become as a nation today. We have a long history of military misadventures and even crimes but the attacks we have been conducting on Venezuela are among the most wanton, egregious and least defensible acts we’ve ever conducted.
