Well... it kinda is. Generally, billionaires run our society (business, mass media, and politics), so they are responsible for all of our problems. The problems we have are the problems they decided we should have.

American academia is deeply infested with influence peddlers. Of course academia was never pure, but I think this is new in the past few decades.

A person's wealth is literally a measure of how much they have taken from society. It says nothing about how much they have created. There's no guarantee that they have created as much as they have taken, even if their gains were legal and even if we consider interest legitimate.
Wealth-creating billionaires aren't the problem. Rent-seekers of all stripes are.

If the 'good billionaires' won't stop the 'bad billionaires' from ruining us, then we have to take matters into our own hands. If you want us to respect you, show us that you are our allies. We need real actions, not propaganda. Don't pretend that we can carry on with business as usual.
We freely acknowledge that not all billionaires are good people. We strongly oppose Trump, and while we appreciate Musk's contributions to EVs, space exploration, and rural internet access, we're disappointed with the right-wing turn he's taken. Child abusers deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest.

We are far past the point where we are reflexively "boycotting" every offensive company-- we have to get groceries and household goods somewhere. None of the options are good. But we don't need big-budget entertainment. DIY and community-focused entertainment is the most basic step of resistance.
In today's edition of which companies you should boycott:
