Well I appreciate the spirit of the thing but... Surely a legendary defender would be better-suited to the job, right?
Legendary, veteran prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, known for targeting Osama bin Laden and bringing down the Illinois mob, is coming out of retirement to defend former FBI director James Comey.
Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald who took down the mob is coming back
Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, 64, served as a US attorney in Chicago for more than a decade, and he is a longtime friend and former colleague of Comey, 64.

And almost all the rest require them to inform you if you must, so if you don’t see “MUST BUY 2” on the flyer it’s 1 for 1.50…
2 for 3 bucks… or 1 for 1.50… that’s not “saving” that’s math.

This wasn’t a clash, this was the cops doing what they do while a bunch of people filmed and whelped.

That’s the “genius” of our system: Congress is up for sale on every issue. Your congressman has probably been bought off and paid for in installments 30, 40 times over.
The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate.

The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.

Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.

The list goes on and on.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

This Superman movie is appealing to a whole new group of people than previous Superman movies. In a very good way. I haven’t seen it yet, but if we go by results, very encouraging.

Many of everyone’s favorite “classics” only saw the light of day because a publisher somewhere could see the forest past the trees and not let their own ideas of “technically good” step on “highly lovable.”
I’m reading The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time in ages. There’s such an earnest loveliness to the writing, of a kind you don’t really see anymore. It’s sad to say, but I think if someone wrote a book like this in 2025, it would be lambasted as overly sentimental and “cringe.”

It’s like there’s a mandate that living here HAS to suck as much as possible…

It’s hard for ICE to get into the White House…
There are actually quite a few undocumented Russians in the US.

Anyone have any videos of ICE forcefully deporting them?

Or just the brown people?

Quick! Someone in power make a TikTok before they destroy all semblance of decency!
The folks hollering about “family values” are out here tearing families apart with unlawful ICE raids, militarized police, & the weaponization of government.

All while ripping away food & healthcare from working-class families.

Are the family values in the room with us?

At a time when Chinese tech is leaping ahead decades at a time every few days, our response is to tell them to NOT expose their smartest people to us. Okay…
This policy alone will do enough to slow PRC brain drain into the United States that China should remove Rubio from its sanctions list as a gesture of appreciation.

I may not have read the books, but i have magically reviewed both Tapper and Comey’s new tell-alls-

They are both hugely self-involved pricks who didn’t do the right things when it mattered, but now think we should be grateful that they were there at the time.

Saved you a read.
