A judge ordered agents involved in the Chicago deportation blitz to have "visible identification … prominently displayed."

But they've been missing in dozens of @chicago.suntimes.com photographs.

Greg Bovino, Kristi Noem, and DHS need to answer for their unchecked attacks on Chicago residents.

ICE is an out-of-control danger to our peaceful communities.

although it's good news he wasn't charged, this situation is absurd.

he was singled out in the crowd on suspicion of... what? filming a brief altercation between an agen and a protester?

1) this is a shocking attack on the press.
2) this is an attack on anyone with a phone's rights.
Seven people were just released, greeted with cheers and hugs.

One of our photogs was just hit with a rubber bullet at the Broadview ICE facility. Things have escalated since ICE started shooting pepper balls and tear gas.

since I've been at the @chicago.suntimes.com, we've written about two trans women who died who I've known personally.

maybe that's not a remarkable statistic to you, but it weighs on me pretty heavily.

the head of the column is crossing the Clark bridge now.

this is the largest protest Chicago has seen in years — thousands, maybe more — have marched up Dearborn from the Loop. I can't give a good estimate because I can't see the end of the column.
