I am a serious advocate for iron deficiency treatment as part of women’s healthcare but also when they say you ‘may get flu-like symptoms’ after an iron infusion, don’t take that lightly like I did, she say emerging from days of 39-40 degree fever, every bone in body aching, can’t leave bed 🥵

I have two cats sleeping on my legs and my doggo lying stretched out next to me and truly these times call for at least three loving and content animals applied directly to one’s body, as often as possible.

Oh gosh a couple of happenings today point to me being, in fact, a good parent and let me tell you I would have defended that point adamantly if pressed but excuse me while I feel the urge to happy sob at the visceral feeling of oh I AM a good parent 😭

I would like to gently request that AI pharmacy bots stop trying to kill my mother
Recently, I got a notice from my new pharmacy provider that they wouldn’t cover my thyroid medication and bizarrely suggested insulin instead! I need my thyroid medication. Then a couple of days ago, they called and told me to disregard the letter they had sent. AI is such a time and labor saver!
