A very top cat. Maggie is taking it kinda hard, he’s been her whanau since she was 8 weeks old and it took her 2 years of concerted effort to make friends… she’s been v attentive the last week or so, taking over his grooming work, an unlikely couple of best friends but they were by the end

Action Kitteh update: he’s on hospice care levels now, had a few remarkable rallies over the last couple years but gone down hill over the last week despite all treatment and in his last days now: he’s managing a few bites of salmon sashimi and McDonald’s fries and getting maximum cuddles 💖

It’s is 5(!) minutes past the earlier possible dinner time enjoyed in those household, yet I am being pawed at and given EYES of suspicion that the long feared famine has finally arrived

The arthritis is mainly in the old back hips, you know, so I just like to lightly warm those all day, but not the front half, otherwise I get TOO warm, then I move the whole body onto it at night. It’s a system. Don’t mind me.

Got a new jumper. Laid it out to wear later today. Of course, it’s immediately used as as a butt cleaning location, of course.

Almost 11yo doggo saw vet today: heart issues are stable, at the low end of her healthy weight and ‘ageing very gracefully’… she was however diagnosed with being ‘a sweet, very sensitive little sausage’ because her cough and moping was from swallowing a treat wrong irritating her throat 🥺
