The premise of everything Kemi says and does is “if Labour are doing it, it must be bad”, and everything else is about her making intellectual pretzel shapes around that.
This starts with such a bewildering premise. How did she alight on that?

American Antiques Roadshow. Invented suspense to fit around the ad breaks. Unwatchable.
I genuinely feel like I learn a lot about both my own country and others through watching the same reality TV or gameshow in different countries, but I also discover that I really don't like the way American reality TV is edited.

my theory: social media has whipped up impatience, scorn, hatred, anger, polarisation and frustration with anything other than immediate results
Glad the FT is asking the question. Even if I’m not convinced they found a compelling answer.
I get that Starmer & Reeves are unpopular, I really don’t understand the extent of the dislike.

The Fellowship of the Ring is a Christmas movie.
The Company of the Ring gathers on Rivendell’s threshold at dusk, with their baggage loaded on Bill the pony. Sam remembers that he hasn’t packed rope. Boromir sounds his horn. And Elrond gives his blessing: ‘May the stars shine upon your faces!’

They walk south into the Wild.
