Asking for money will never come easy to me! But I'm proud of what we're building at @genderlib.com & need the support to help us grow. A thread on first year highlights:
Every day, GLM fights for a world where gender liberation is non-negotiable. Where trans, intersex, nonbinary, and cis people alike can live free from control—over our bodies, genders, choices, and futures.

Everyone in the world comes to get married at the NYC Marriage Bureau. Last week, the Mayor stopped by to officiate a few of those ceremonies.

Thank you to all the couples who shared their joy with us. Happy Valentine's Day, New York.

SCOOP: The Department of Health and Human Services has been using the term “sex-rejecting procedures” to describe gender-affirming care for transgender and nonbinary individuals.

The term is not clinical or medical. It comes from a Christian Right group.

I usually avoid sharing what feels like "inside baseball" political analysis here, but this merits an exception because of the stakes + scale involved.

Zohran isn't "wrong" to endorse Hochul; he has no choice. But for primary voters to back Hochul would definitely be unwise. Let me explain why. 🧵
NEW: Mayor Mamdani is set to endorse Gov. Hochul’s reelection run this week, providing her a critical inroad with progressive voters, per four sources.

It deals a near fatal blow to Antonio Delgado's campaign.

Friends, remember: Zohran himself can't afford to criticize Hochul too much; the governor exerts too much control over NYC for him to afford the risk.

But just because Z isn't criticizing Hochul doesn't mean that we shouldn't. In fact, the Left's *OUTSIDE* must do so, because our inside-man cannot.

Zohran is right: NYC has a $12B gap because Eric Adams under-budgeted by at least $10 billion.

The good news is that the fix is simple, for the money's here—in the form of 2% more to collect from NYC's $1M+ incomes.

Our task: move Hochul by making @delgadoforny.bsky.social popular.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Wednesday painted a dire picture of the city’s finances, placing the blame for a $12 billion budget gap over two years on former Mayor Eric Adams.

For all the fearmongering about capital flight from New York City, there’s an exodus few want to talk about: working people.

Sky-high rents and outrageous child care costs are already pushing families out of the city they keep running.

just gonna throw out a quick reminder that in America police kill a yearly average of 3 civilians per day, routinely in situations very similar to these ICE killings, and decades of explicit support for police impunity by US politicians is why ICE feels theyre able to get away with this right now
