regrettably this is so unsurprising - ghey has entirely capitulated to the cultural demand that she rewrite brianna as a victim of childhood transness rather than of transphobic murder. she’s betraying her daughter to save her own skin
Esther continually deadnamed Brianna during the call and honestly if you didn't already know what happened, you would have assumed suicide. There was no focus on external dangers or how we could combat them. The focus was purely about the dangers of how 'obsessed with social media' she was.

wrote up a quick account of a trans teenager who was murdered by their father [allegedly] and is being treated as a cis woman by all relevant media coverage. hasn't been picked up by queer media even though he wrapped them in a pride flag after killing them

Onyx Cornish (2007–2025) was a queer & trans teenager, allegedly murdered by their adoptive father.
Last week, a trans teenager was shot to death in their bedroom in Caldwell, Idaho; their father has allegedly confessed. The case has been…

I think Onyx being trans should be salient to this reporting. He deserved so much better, and their memory still does

@support.bsky.team i have tried to verify my age via every available method you have provided me, and it won't accept any of them. i have been a legal adult for ten years, and i need to be able to message other activists on here for work

'Positive masculinity' promises a compelling vision of happy, secure, gender-equal boys and men. But is it just an airbrushed reinforcement of traditional masculinity?

The problem with ‘positive masculinity’
In recent years, positive male role models have been touted as a means of saving young boys from the clutches of misogynistic influencers. But can ‘good patriarchs’ really eradicate misogyny?

"The literary festival is an institution that deserves more suspicion than it gets" writes @eliacugini.bsky.social, uncovering the right's co-option of the Oxford Literary Festival and the free speech industrial complex pumping its festering heart.

How the Oxford Literary Festival became a haven for the right
Behind the liberal festival facade, the OLF is providing a platform for the right-wing Free Speech Union and cashing in on culture wars – and it's not alone.

After the Oxford Literary Festival gave Sex Matters director Helen Joyce her first festival booking, I did a deep dive into the festival - and into how the right-wing 'free speech' grift is encroaching on British arts spaces, with potentially dangerous results.
