I just finished Near Mage by @stuckinattic.bsky.social and wow the writing is just extraordinary! The writing is so good that I would rank it just after Old Skies and that’s a really high bar for me! If you like magic and adventure games with choices matter elements then this is for you!

Folks, if your library doesn’t have a book you want to read, ask them to buy a copy. Most have a convenient form and will let you know when it comes in. If your library offers ILL, they can even borrow books from other libraries.

I already feel the need to see wicked for good again😭 I know they won’t, but I wish they would continue to put movies out to stream when they come out in theaters, or at least very soon after, like the did during covid😔 especially since it benefited disabled people like me so much

Finally wrote my steam review for Séance of Blake Manor now that I’ve finished it for the second time and got all the things done and saw all the endings😁😁 they’re at “overwhelmingly positive” and that makes me so happy because they should be!!

Thank you to everyone today who’s said how important voice acting is to games. It really helps fight against the idea we’re disposable or replaceable.
I know we’re not curing cancer here, but human creativity is one of the things that make life worthwhile- VA in games is part of that enjoyment.

In the process of getting my home studio set up to be able to produce professional quality audio; still have some issues to resolve and it’s taking some detective work, but it’s getting there!😁

I went to @geekgirlcon.bsky.social last weekend and had a wonderful time meeting really cool video game developers, learning about a local group for people who love indie games and work on them, and buying a bunch of beautiful art and some trinkets😍😍😍 and so many stickers for my collection😍😍😍
