OK, I had a rant about dire wolves. Firstly, dire wolves were a type of dog, secondly, the current pups are grey wolves genetically modified to look a bit like dire wolves, and thirdly, all this bullshit pulls focus and money from proper conservation.

Essential to remind that libraries are not just vital sources of knowledge and information but also excellent community centers devoted to under-served populations. Services for job-seekers, the blind, for senior citizens. They lend out books but also tech, cooking equipment, media players.
