#3157 A helpful tutorial
A digital drawing of one of those drawing tutorials that says 'don't do this, do this.' The drawing is of an almost naked middle-aged man doing a flying kick. The 'Don't do this' one has a bunch of areas circled and a cross under it. The 'Do this' one is exactly the same but without the circles and a tick instead of a cross. The text reads 'Needlessly adding red circles will ruin your art' and a smaller bit of text at the bottom reads 'Bonus tip! Add a tick under all your art so people think you did it right.'

In case you had any doubts Skin Deep is a good game, here's an excerpt from its patch notes.
Fixed: mech glass wound bug Piloting a mech and stepping on glass shards would sometimes result in getting glass stuck in Nina's feet. This was not intended, as Nina's feet are fictionally safe inside the mech. Using the mech to stomp on glass no longer applies glass wounds to Nina. Nina is now safe. Fixed: pod departure logic Under certain circumstances, the player was able to deposit all of the cats into the cat pod and then force the pod to leave before Nina could enter it. This resulted in what felt like a soft-lock where the pirate boarding ship never appeared. Fixed: swordfish consumed by trash chute If the player had a swordfish impaled in their body and then stood near a trash chute, the trash chute sometimes "ate" the swordfish. This was not intended. It sort of made sense and was an interesting systemic behavior, but the interaction was a little too confusing. In this update, the trash chute now ignores impaled swordfishes.

The door itself is flying off into the room with the handle and hinges falling off. Panel 2: A large muscular figure with a head that looks like a Minecraft dirt block bends into the doorway, wrapping the fingers of its right hand around the frame and moving its left shoulder in first. It says "ALRIGHT, TIME FOR THE MONTH-LONG MINECRAFT ADDICTION YOU GET EVERY 4 YEARS" Panel 3: We look from behind the figure's shoulder as we see that Shen is being held hostage by Hornet from Hollow Knight: Silksong. She is standing behind him, with her needle to his throat, as he looks at the Minecraft dirt block guy in horror. Panel 4: The Minecraft dirt block guy is outside again, on the grass next to the cement path leading up to the door, now leaning down with his left hand on his knee and his right hand closing the door gently with a "click". He seemingly put it back into place, despite it still being very broken. He says "some fights are beyond me."

Dropbox is discontinuing the Paper app. Now all your notes will only be available via the web.

It's so strange that a company designed around syncing files created the .paper format which only stores a URL, and no actual content. How did they lose sight of file over app?
In order to focus on delivering a consistent, high-quality experience on paper.dropbox.com, the Dropbox Paper mobile app will be discontinued on October 9, 2025. If you already have the app installed on your device, it will no longer function after this date. You can continue using Paper on Web on any of your devices after this date by logging into paper.dropbox.com using your browser.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

Sağ altta bir yazı, şöyle diyor (ben diyorum): 2000'lerin başlarında kişisel web sitelerimiz ve Usenet gruplarımız vardı. Sonra blog'larımız oldu. Bir noktada tüm kontrolü büyük şirketlerin kendi çıkarları için optimize ettikleri "sosyal medya"ya bıraktık. Kontrolü yavaş yavaş geri almak gerektiğini düşünüyorum. (Bunun yolu WordPress mi? Onu sonra konuşalım.) Fırsat buldukça buraya teknik notlar, yorum/düşünce yazıları, öğrencilere tavsiyeler, vb. eklemek istiyorum.
