For the #BirdOfTheDay theme of #BackyardBirds here is a recently visiting Sharp-shinned hawk. Knowing that they could be this bird's next meal, all of the other backyard birds were nowhere in sight while she perched here.

Life guard on duty. Fortunately the ice is thick in the bay on the south shore of Lake Superior, so Finlay hasn't had to rescue anyone. 🙏😁 There is a virtual ice fishing village further out. We'll see what warmer temps bring. Stay safe out there!
