🚨BREAKING: Arsenal will pay £55m for Gyokeres with a further £8m in add-ons.

Gyokeres’ agent waived his £5.5m commission fee to get the deal done.

The removal of this has allowed Arsenal to pay a lower fixed fee, while Sporting receive the same funds, due to not having to pay a waived comission.

Defence secretary John Healey said the government has “deported 30,000 people in the last year”.

But he appears to—again—be referring to overall returns data which includes both enforced removals and voluntary returns.
Not all immigration removals count as ‘deportations’ – Full Fact
The defence secretary has again made an error in referring to the government’s record on immigration returns, as has a post on Facebook.

The BBC iPlayer has been at its inconsistent worst this weekend with Glastonbury coverage.

Louis Dunford is on now on the Other Stage - No stream. The menus are a confusing mess because they centre around 4 TV channels. Technical difficulties so some performances weren’t streamed at all.

I'm all in favour of the government making it easier to digitise everyday life admin but I think doing stuff that many other countries already do as standard is pushing the definition of radicalism

Tomorrow morning the Supreme Court will rule on what the protected characteristic of "sex" refers to in the Equality Act. Sounds technical, but it's immensely consequential. Here's a reminder of what's at stake.

🚨CAR TARIFFS🚨
My 6m primer on the latest chapter in the Trump saga:
- Why some countries face paying not 25% but over 170%(!)
- Why this isn't just about where a car is made but what goes inside.
- And which car company does best out of it? You can prob guess.

c) press releases the cancellation of those ops.
