Illustrations/concept art of Papal States stuff for Trench Crusade. The first item is an hybrid pinfire revolver saber, with a stirrup hilt doubling as the trigger guard. The second item is a holy maul-y, with a massive cut stone head bearing the sentence 'tv es petrvs et svper hanc petram aedificabo ecclesiam meam et tibi dabo claves regni caelorvm' in letters of gold. The handle is made of gilded wood with blue cloth wrapping around the handle, as well as gold decorations on the spur and tip. The third item is a 75mm smoke shell, with an engraved brass casings bearing scrollworks and the words Psalms 68:2, with the shell's fuse being topped by a cross. The fourth item is the goodest boy, a st Bernard dog happily panting while wearing a medkit, a gas mask, a barrel of cognac and a spiked anti wolf collar fitted with the collar lapels from a Swiss army uniform. The fifth and last item is two sections from a belt of autocannon rounds being marked incendiary, incendiary, incendiary and tracer. The brasses are equally fancy as the smoke shell and bear the letters DIES IRAE in blackletter.

Illustrations/concept art of heretic legion stuff for Trench Crusade. The first item is a long flamethrower made of blackened stamped metal, with brass fittings for its pressure tank and where the fuel would feed. Its pilot light is a twisted mess of brass tubing in the shape of a goetic seal. The second item is a set of plate and maille armor, fashioned after a la romana harnesses from the Renaissance but with many antropomorphic details, such as the breastplate following and being patterned after the ribcage, the faulds having corners shaped like femur heads, and one of the pauldrons straight up being a horned skull. Likewise the textile covering on the mid section is embroidered with an anatomical depiction of the human guts, and the whole suit is decorated with blood red ribbons and laces.

Not only do I believe Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet is the best adaptation of Romeo & Juliet, I also legitimately believe it's the most faithful to the spirit of the original text.

By setting it in the modern day, he removed the conception that this was a thing that could only happen in the past.

The second item is a medic's kit made up of several bandage rolls, a box of gauze, antiseptics, artery clamps and morphine syrettes presented on top of their canvas bag container, next to a canvas armband bearing an asclepius and finally a bone saw. The third item is a visored sallet helmet with an Adrian crest, painted fatigue green with the arms of New Antioch on its side. The fourth item is a French military bugle. The fifth item is a battlefield promotion, depicted as a document in an open leather case bearing a wax seal and ribbon, along with a medal based on the order of the dragon and a salamander insignia pin based on the early days of the French tank corps back when it was called Special Artillery. The sixth and final item is a German stick grenade to which has been attached several more of the same grande type's heads, along with bullets and roofing nails, all held together with metal wire.

Concept art/illustrations of cursed items for Trench Crusade. The first item is a handful of totally normal silver denariis that were never the reward for any betrayal that this author can think of. The second item is the cancer crown, which was intended as a concept and also what everyone called it when they saw the picture; it is a European crown of pale gold with slight blue oxidation, lined with clover shapes replicating fractally, and decorated with nodules and cabochon pearls. Some empty gem sockets end up looking like barbed holes, and the rim of the crown is stained with blood. The third item is a complaint letter addressed to Ea-Nasir, but carved into green soapstone. The fourth and final item is a bloody sigil carved into someone's flesh that is legally distinct from anything you could find in a manga.

Concept art/illustration for a suit of armor of the Order of the Fly. It is a heavily ridged and fluted harness of gothic plate armor with a skirt of catshead scales and a foot joust helmet elongated into a barbed bloody stinger. The back of the armor feature two sets of pauldrons, each bearing a pair of segmented bug wings made of the same material as the armor, featuring the same ridges and fluting as well as detailed openwork taken from Polish huszar helmets. The suit of armor is bare metal with a strong brown patina and blood stains; it is pierced with holes as if it had gone porous on its edges, with some metallic growths shaped like feathers sprouting in various places.
