I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

It’s odd how the right uses pejoratives without really understanding what they mean. They name-call “communist”, “socialist”, “fascist”, and “woke” the same breath. The contradiction means nothing as it just means it’s something they don’t like, without any understanding of those words.

I'm leaving this here to reflect on in the future... I don't think the US will ever have another fair national election. I don't think things can be undone. The billionaires have found a way to undo democracy. They won. I do want to be wrong.
